Mr, C. E. Daniell informed a representative of the Age yesterday that it was his intention of offering himself for re-election to the Wellington Harbour Board.

Mr F. Whitton, manager of Messrs C. Smith's, (Ltd.), Masterton branch, will leave this morning on a fortnight's trip to Christchurch. V; Mr H. Savage, of Wellington, who has been spending a short holiday with friends in Masterton, returned to the City yesterday;> Dr. and Mrs Cook, who have been on a fortnight's trip through, the Auckland district,-returned to Masterton last evening.
