DEATH UNDER ANAESTHETIC.
CHRIS'ICHURCH, La&t Night. At me inquest oa Jtieawy Mortimer the medical evidence Was to the effect that deceased was thoroughly examined before the- anaesthetic was administered, 4 and was found to- be apparently soiind.
! The coroner recorded a'-*, verdict that death was due ' to' paralysis . of. the heart when, an. operation was about to be performed for 'hernia.. He remarked .that the medical-evi-dence had made, it -quite dear that the casualty could not have, been foi'seen. in any circumstances', and was one of those remarkable occurr- • ences thait could not be. accounted for. \.
