DESTRUCTIVE FIRE.
BANK AND FOUR SHOPS DE-
STROYED
(Received Last Night, 11 o'clock.)
SYDNEY, March 10,
A fire at Murwillumbah destroyed the Bank of N.S.W. and four, shops in one of'the main streets. Owing to the absence of fire-fighting < appliances they were unable to extinguish the flames until they were stopped by pulling down one of the premises. ; The. damage is over £4000,: but is covered by insurance.
