[To The Editor.] Sir,- In a recent paragraph you stated that the programme for the musical competitions in connection with the Masterton Competitions Society had been prepared by the judge. If this is so, the Sodety must have been unfortunate in its sefedtiom. The programme is about as big a "hash." as one could imagine, and quite unsuited to Masterton. The committee should revise it .before definitely accepting it, ithat is if they wan* (iiheir first competitions to be a sucoess.r— I am, etc., MUSICUS.
