T€ WHARAU.

A cricket match between teams representing Flat Point and. Glenburn stations .took ' place at Flat Point- on Saturday last, and though ihs wealthcr conditions were not too favourable a fairly large number of people, were present, and were most royally entertained by Mr' Cox, manager cf Fiat Point. Some! good cricket was witnessed during the afternoon: For Flat Point, Smith, Tatham and Emerso'.i batted and bowled (brilliantly,, while vho fielding of Ross, Herbert, Prout and Robertfi was excellent: For Gtenburn, Ashnvorfah, Lees, Bunny and MeMullen showed good form with the bat, while Lees, Ash worth, Sutherland, and MeMullen bowled with good judgment.
