IS HECTOR MACDONALD ALIVE?
(Received this mornings 12.50 o'clock.) NEW YORE, March 7 V Passengers by the China liner Asia, which has arrived at San Francisco, assert that they saw Sir Hector Macdonald drilling troops in China. The Asia's officers assert that the troops were British. The navy officers of the warship Kent corroborate this assertion.
