EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE.

Messrs Abraham and Williams,, Ltd., report on.', their Eketahuua sale, held yesterday, as follows: We submitted a full, yarding of •sheep, including several good, lines of: ewes, which met a spirited sale, practically everything '. selling at auction at prices considerably in excess of vendors' anticipations. A difference of 2s to 3s per head in advance of'last week was realised for good station breeding ewes. The annual draft from- Alpass' estate ■springers; £4 2s to £4 lis. old sheep, and lis 7d for 5-year-olds. A pen of 80 fat ewes from the same station made lis 9d. Mr J. P. Lowes' cull 2-tooths, 13s; aged ■sheep, 10s; and fat ewes, 13s. Messrs Dalgety and C 0.,: Ltd., report having held' their usual weekly £ale at Eketahuna on Friday, 3rd: March. We a heavy yarding of sheep to a largo attendance. Bidding under the hammer was much brisker than of late, and .we. have to report a >■ clearance . .at. prices in favour of vendors. We quote:— Best woolly lambs, 9s 3d, 9s 5d to 11 s..Bd; others, 7s "3d, 7s lOd "to 8s : ld; . 2-tooth wethers, 10s 3d, 10s lid, 11® 5d to 12s Id; 2-; tooth ewes, "12s 7d to; ,13s; mixed aged ewes, poor,' 3s 8d to 7s Id; better sorts, Bs, ,8s 2d,Bs 7d, 8» lid to 9s 6d; shorn lambs, 3s 6d," 4s 3d, 5s 7d to 7s 2d.
