STRICKEN BY SCIATICA.

Vd\ Known Athlete who had i to Give up Sport, -j

Suffered of! and on for ten years—* Cured by Dr, Williams' Pink Pills.

A few years ago there were few better known athletes in Tasmania than Mr Arthur J. Grice, of Driffield Street, Queenstown, whose performances on the cinder track, and football field, won for him a place in the front rank. After a time, however, Mr Griee disappeared from active competition. and it was learned that this was due to recurring attacks of Sciatica. After suffering off and on for a number of years, Mr Grice is again hearty and strong, and he thanks Dr. 'Williams' Pink Pills for completely curing his sciatica. He said:— "Up to the age of 23 I was always strong and healthy and a well-known athlete. From that time forward I was compelled to give up all sport, , such as running, football, etc., owing ' to repeated attacks of Sciatica in the 1 right hip and extending to the right l knee. 1 consulted several doctors j who prescribed for me some medicine . to take, others blistering me and giving me lotions. The blistering was so severe that it took all the skin off my hip to my knee. The pain at times' was wed-nigh unbearable. It was very sharp, like needles being pushed into the flesh. It used to be worse at nights, especially if I got wet or had been working in water. The Sciatic nerve was very tender to. the touch. The attack used to vary, sometimes lasting for a week or more, and at I other times for a day or so. It was always a burning pain; walking would i irritate it. The muscles wasted 'away. | I had been in this state for about ten j years, and whenever it came on I used to consult the, doctors, but without receiving permanent relief, and had come to the conclusion that it would come and go when . it liked. Eventually a fellow workman who had been cured of Sciatica after being I bedridden for three weeks advised me Ito give Dr. Williams' Pink Pills a i trial, as they had cured him., I got a box and benefited, so much from their use I kept on with and by the time I had taken four boxes I felt completely cured. This is nearlytwo years since, and I am happy to say I have never had a twinge or any sign | of the complaint since, and I can con- : scientiously recommend Dr. Williams' J Pink Pills to anyone suffering as I did or for any other complaint • arising from a disorder of the blood, as I have known several who have benefited by their use." The price is 3s per box, six boxes 16s 6d, and if you have any trouble in getting them, send a pdstal not for the amount to the Dr. Williams'. Medicine Co., of Australasia, Ltd., Welj liijgtdn, and they will be, sent, post J free, by return mail-. .
