TOWN CLERK'S REPORT.
At Ithe meeting of the Masterton ' Borough Council last night, the Town Clerk reported as follows: The office work is not in arrear. Informations have been laid against ! all defaulting ratepayers, and there \ >hould be very' little outstanding rates at the 31st of March next. t The new Electoral Lists are on de- ; posit, and the Council should specI ially meet on the loth prox. to conj sider:—(l) Objections to such list ! and make such amendments thereto : as may bo found, necessary and ( - thereafter sign the conform or otherwise deal with flie I special orders made on the 14th instant. The Council will observe that the supplementary electoral lists l are to 'be . finally closed' at , 4 p.m. ,on the 29th of March next. I If the special orders are confirmed • i it is important that they should be ; i gazetted in due ...form.
