THE TREATY RATIFIED.
CALIFORNIAN OPPOSITION WITHDRAWN.

NEW YORK, February 25. v The Japanese Treaty has been ratified. The Pacific Coast Senators.withdrew their active opposition on President Taft giving an assurance that no danger need be apprehended regarding Oriental immigration. Japan has. pleged her honour to prevent an influx of undesirable Coolies; also to enforce a rigid scrutiny of all passports. Calafornian political parties hare announced their satisfaction at the ratification of the Treaty. .
