THE RECIPROCITY BILL.
HUNG UP BY STATE SENATE
(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.)
NEW YORK, February 25. . The Finance Committee of the Senate has reported the Reciprocity Bill without recommendations. Strong opposition speeches were made, several Senators declaring that the Senate resented any attempt to force it to pass the measure. In view of the opposition displayed, the Bill was placed on the file for consideration when the Senate so desires. This move of the Senators means that an extra session to deal with the Bill is unavoidable.
