Mr and Mrs Collie leave Masterton to-day on a visit to the Old Country. Mr J. W. Robertson, who has been •on a visit to the Old Country, returned to Eketahima :pii Thursday last. r Mr W. H. S. Nicholls, for some years postmaster in this town, but who re- ■■ cently retired from the service; is at present a visitor to Masterton. His Worship the Mayor (Mr J. M. Cora dine) has not yet definitely decided whether he will be a candidate for one of the Wairarapa seats on the Wellington Harbour Board. Vlt is not improbable, however, that he will accede to the numerous requests which have been-mado bim in'this connection, and allow himself in bt* nominated. Councillor J. C.
