Mr Ernest E. Booth', advance manager for Messrs J. andN. Tait, arrived in Masterton last night to complete the necessary'arrangements for Miss Amy Castles' Concert Company. The Town Hall is booked on Wednesday, March Bth. The South Island tour of the company has so far been an unqualified success, large and appreciative audiences greeting the illustrious prima donna everywhere. Mr Booth is well known throughout the Dominion as an old Otago representative footballer, and a member of the fam~ ous "All Blacks," 1905-6.
