: 1. Running and other events under the Rules of New Zealand Athletic Union. 2. Three starters or no first prize, five starters or no second,prize. . 3. No nominations entertained unless addressed to- the secretary, and accompanied by necessary cash and performances (two years, or last three, if any). This rule will be strictly enforced. 4. Nominations for events Nos. 2, 3, 6, 9, 14, 18, 20, 22, close with the secretary at Hamua on Saturday, March 4th. 5. Nomination papers can be had from the secretary, or at the Hamua Store. ■ 6. The Committee reserve the right, to alter programme, postpone sports, and re-handicap winners. 7. Handicaps will be published in the Pahiatua. Herald, Eketahuna Express, and Wairarapa Age on Saturday, March 11th. 8. The programme will not, necessarily be run in order as printed. Admission .to ground: Adults Is; Children tinder 12, half price. Admission to horse paddock, one "shilling each horse. ■ ' ■ Pahiatua Band in attendance. Luncheon booth and afternoon tea.
