The Chamber of Deputies was discussing a Bill authorising the construction of two additional 23,500 ton Dreadnoughts, when an uproar was created by a Socialist shouting, "National defence is merely a pretext to ransack the Budget, and to lay hands upoy. the money it contains."
The disturbance necessitated the adjournment of the debate.' . .
