"FISHY" BUTTER.
Reports have been recently cabled to the Dominion that shipments of New Zealand butter have arrived in the Home market in a "fishy" condition. These reports are treated with incredulity. The quality of the butter sent from New Zealand during the past season has never been excelled. . Some explanation must be given concerning the disparity in prices between the New Zealand and Danish butters, more particularly asthe latter has unquestionably deteriorated in quality. The reports from London are themselves a Lvtlo "fishy/' *
