pahiatua STOCK SALE. ,: Messrs Balgety and Co., Ltd., re-, pout having held their usual weekly sale, when they offeree, W'good'yard--ing of sheep, and catiJe came forward to advertised numbers. All descriptions of. sheep met with a dull sale, but we are able to report a clearance at last week's rates. We quote:— Three and 4-year ewes, 6s 6d, 7s to 8s 3d; old ewes, ;3s 6d to 4s; shorn lambs, poor condition, 4s 9d, 5s to 5s 6d; cull lambs, 2s 9d to 3s; 3-shear Lincoln raps, 1 to 1$ guineas; English Leicester rams, to 1 guinea; f.m/ Southdown ranis, to 20s.
