Cloudy weather has increased in the south and rain is reported at tEe'Bluff this afternoon. The barometer has fallen everywhere, and moderate northerly winds have prevailed. . : : • Present indications are-fob-a falling I barometer in the- North Island. The barometer is linsteadyjn .souths- but a rise may be anticipated shortly. Increasing cloudiness will probably .he followed by, rain, in ihost> parts of the country. Strong easterly winds, veering, to northerly, are probable in the •North, and northerly changing to southerly elsewhere.
