PLATFORM CAMPAIGN. FEDERAL PROPOSALS. (Received February 16, 9.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, February 16. The ex-State Premier, Mr Wade, i last night opened a platform campaign against the referenda proposals. He made a strong appeal to his hearers to yote against them! and urged the people to tell Mr Fisher (Federal Prime Minister) that they would have none of his hobble-skirt policy. Mr Wade characterises the Federal referenda as the filching away of State rights. PERTH, February 16. The Premier . (Mr Frank Wilson) •states that the Government will offer the strongest opposition to the referenda proposals.
