(Received Last Night, 11.15 o'clock.) ; SYDNEY, February 16. • Several of the New Guinea's > crew have arrived. They state that when the ship struck, the impact almost ripped her bottom out, and it was very soon apparent that she was doomed. Great difficulty was experienced' in lowering the boats, owing to the heavy swell. Heavy rain and fog added to the danger, and severely affected some of the crew.
