JUDGING COMPETITIONS.
AT THE MASTERTON SHOW. Considerable interest was taken in the live stock judging competitions at the Masterton show on Tuesday and Wednesday. The competitors showed very great skill, as is seen by the fact that six competitors selected the first, second, and third horses, as placed by the fudge. The maximum points were 210, and the points of the first six competitors were as follows: —W. Campbell, 210 points, 1; W. Phillips, 194 points, 2; Jas. Maxwell, 193 points, 3; A. Booth, 192 points, 4: J. C.McKillop, 181 points, 5; and W. Adams, 150 points, 6. Points were awarded on remarks, made by the coniT petitors.
