PICTUREDRAMA. To-night the Taylor-Carrington management present an entirely new picturedrama illustrative of the martyrdom of Adolf Beck, the unfortunate gentleman whose sad case created so much interest in London last year. He was twice convicted of crimes of which he was perfectly innocent, and it was only after many years of suffering that his innocence was established. He received the King's pardon and a grant of £SOGO as compensation. That truth is stranger than fiction is evinced by this remarkable case of mistaken identity. The pictures in* support are all entirely riewto local audiences, and include a number of the. very latest successes in cinematography.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. The present programme at the Foresters' Hall is of such merit that another crowded house witnessed its presentation last evening, late comers being unable to obtain admission. The audience were most demonstrative in their appreciation of the excellent subjects shown, the most popular being. • "The Indian Raiders," "The Indian Girl's Love," ._ "How ..Hubby got a Rise,"_. and ''Wooing a Widow.'' The programme will be presented agnin this evening.
