SXOCK MARKET. Messrs Abraham and "\Villiams, Ltd., report on their clearing sale held at Martinborough, on account of Messrs Chapman and Rqfe and Mr A. Brontnall':—. A large number of buyers from Palmerston, Masterton, -\ Wellington, and South Wairarapa districts were present. Messrs Chapman and Rote's entry, being unreserved, met with good competition, all lots selling at prices which were 'highly satisfactory. Mr Brentnall's horses.came forward in■ first-class order, but in most cases bidding was not up to owners' reserve. Waggons, carts, implements and sundries madd good values, as did the majority of horses submitted by outside vendors. We quote:—■ Four and six-year draught mares,' 230 <to £4O; 7 to 9year mares, £22 to £26; aged mares, ±/ to £ls, geldings, 4 to 6yrs, £3O to £35; geldings, 7 to 9yrs, £2l'to £3O 10s.; aged geldings, £7 to £l4 10s. -■ .
