OUR NEW SHOWGROUNDS.
A VISITOR'S IMPRESSIONS. Messrs Rutherford and Ander- M , A son, two members of the Committ*© of the Auckland A. and P. Association, have been, in Masterton for the last day or two with the special object <. of making an examination of the new showgrounds. Interviewed last evening by a representative of the Wairarapa Age, Mr Anderson stated that both he and his colleague were most favourably * impressed with the general arrangements of the grounds, and were charmed with the surroundings. Mr Anderson stated that the accommodation in the grandstand was superior to anything he had ever seen. The ring was capacious,' but personally he wo lid rather have eeen it oval-shaped than round.' The sheep pavilions, and the provision for the exhibition of horses, cattle and. sheep .could not, in bis opinion, well be beaten. The grounds were commodious, and everything that could b9 desired.
