"SOLWAY PARK."
Thez'e seems to be a general desire on the part of the townspeople of Mastertori to recognise the splendid; efforts of those who have, made "Sol-; way Park" practically a gift to the town for : tll time. .The attendance of the public at the annual shows will, in itself, be a, tangible recognition; but something morels suggested. The Soiway Syndicate, it is known, is averse to any special fprm of recognition, and the Mayor feels a certain diffidence in the matter. If a public meeting -were called, however, some scheme might be devised which would meet with the approval of the syndicate as well as the general body of the- Association. At anyrate, courtesy dictates that the townspeople should offer a return picnic to the Association at some convenient date after the Show.
