MASTERTON TRUST LANDS TRUSTEES.
MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Masterton Trust Lands Trustees was held last evening, there being present: Messrs E. G. Eton (in the'chair), C. E. Daniell, O". Pragiiell, H. C. Robinson f , W. H. Jackson, R. Krahagen, ;D/ Caselbe'rg aiid.'T. : '."An* apology for absence was received from Mr T;' Wagg. It was decided that the annual "grant.of £5 be made to the Masterton Fire Police. ; A grant of £6 wis made to the Masterton Fire Brigade, to assist the team which is ''.proceeding' to the Hokitika Fire Brigades A Demonstration. * ' Mr A. R. Bunny forwarded a copy of-the lease from the Trust to Mr J. C. Ewington for approval. The matter was referred to the Chairman and a committee for a report. v Accounts amounting to £194 3s 4d were passed for payment. The secretary, in answer to Mr Daniell, stated that the £250 sinking fund for the Town Hall had been invested with the Masterton Permanent Investment and Building Society at 4 per cent.
