MASTERTON STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly sale at their Masterton yards yesterday, when they offered a yarding well up to advertised numbers. Bidding throughout the sale of sheep was fairly animated, and all lines shoA»ed condition, and good mouths brought prices well up to late rates. Among our entry was the annual draft of "Mataikona" f.m. ewes, which were purchased from 9s 9d to 10s, such a price being well in favour of purchasers. 2-tooth wethers from the same station brought 10s lOd; and small 2-tooth ewes up to 10s 9tl. in cattle we offered a large yarding of 8 arid 4-year old bullocks on act« count of a Palmerston North client, which brought up to £7 2s. ■ Also.,a line,of steers brought £5 14s. Other sales were as follows:—Woolly lambs, 8s 9d to 9s 3d; poor 2 tooth ewes, 8s Id to 9s 2d; 2 and 4-tooth wethers, 10s lOd to 12s Id; f.m. ewes, poor condition,. 3s od, 4s lOd, 6s Bd, 6s lOcl, to 7s Id;, shorn lambs, 8s 2d to 9s lid; fat ewes, to 12s 3d; store cows, £3 5s to £3 10s; old store cows, £2 Is to £2 8s : ; springing heifers, £4 to £4 3s; fat cows to £4 12s; yearlings, 345. Heavy bullocks, £9 'lss to £10; lighter, £9 7s 6d,to £9 10s; medium bullocks, £8 10s to £8 17s Gd; light, £8 to £8 2s 6d; dealers' extra prime, £3 ss; others, 24s to 275; fat cows, £5 4s; prime heavy wefliers, 17s Id; good wethers, 15s 4d to 16s; pi*ime ewes, 14s 9d to Ms 6d, plain, lis 6d to 12s 6d; prime lambs, 12s 7d to 12s lOd; plain, 10s 4d to lis.

RAUMAI STOCK SALE. (By Telegraph—Special-to ■ the Age.) "PALMERSTON N., Last Night. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—. at our Raumai Kile, lield on the 7th February, 1911, wo lint! a very heavy yarding of cattle. There was a very fair demand for all classes of sheep, but owing to .the continued .dry' weather prices were slightly lower than the last sales. Bidding on the cattle was brisk, and everything was quitted, including several, nice pens jpi bidlocks.
