GHRISTOHURCH, Last Night. A large gas meter for the Christchurch Gas Company, which was too large to convey by rail through the Lyttelton tunnel, ar.ct was brought by a traction engine over the hills, safely arrived on. the flat to-day, and will be delivered at the CojnpanyY works to-morrow morning. ; :
