THE RAILWAY TIME-TABLE

STILL "IN-TRAIN." ■ A representative of the Age took advantage of the presence of the General Manager and head officials of the Railway Department in Masterton last evening to enquire what steps had been taken in regard to the arranging of a new railway time-table for the Wairarapa. He was informed that the arrangements were "in train," but that no announcement could be made until the proposed alterations have been approved by the Minister, who is at present in Duncdin. The officials, stated that the decision of the Minister would be communicated to the Chamber of Commerce at the earliest possible moment. ,
