Results-: Best lady driver, Misa Jessie Campbell and Miss Grace Robertson tied. Pony jump, Mr Leicester's Offshoot. Ladies' Hunters, N. Patterson's Haere and R. Morrison's Weary Bill tied. Hunters, All' Jas. Ooombes' Marchioness. Mr Coombes has now won this competition two years .in succession.

DANNEVIRKE. By Teleardvn—'jrresa Association. * ; 'DANNEVIRKE, ;Last'Night.; The second, annual show under the; auspices of the Datmevirke A~.' and P. Association was held to-day, .in glorious weather. The attendance .was considerably over 'SOOO. The Minister for Agriculture and 5 Mr Dunlop, Scottish Commissioner, were present, as well as most of the rep-; reseritative sheep and cattle breeders of" ; all parts. Hawke's Bay entries showed a considerable oyer last' year. Competition was keen in all classes, especially in dairy; breeds and grade dairy cattle. There was-a. good exhibition of fat! sheep and lambs. The competitions were exceptionally well filled.- The champion jump was won by Mr Niven's Pickpocket The success of the show, was such that it has been practically decided to have it on two days in future. , -"/'.
