NEW ZEALAND FORECAST.

WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and weather forecast are as follows: — Fair weather has prevailed, ahcl moderate to strong easterly windshave predominated. The 'barometer continued high in the south, but has fallen to-day in the north, especially about the East Gape, where the conditions this evening are ominous. Present indications, are for the development of a storm area off the east coast of the North Island. . High easterly winds, iu-nvy seas and rain are probable in Hawke's Bay. Unsettled weather will probably extend over the North Island. Haziness and cloudy weather are likely to increase in the; south, with moderate to strong easterly and northerly winds. The barometer is falling everywhere, especially in the north.
