THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
, The present series or pictures which'is being presented 1 fey--Messrs Thompson and Payne at the Forester's Hall drew another good house last evening. The programme is ticularly strong ,in dramatic jsubjeotS, the "star" pictures being "The Rose o' Salem," <;Tie Broken"... ;Dcll," and "The Sheriffs Capture," * all of which are American pictures of exceptional merit.. "The Broken '.", Doll" is apathetic drsma depicting how a little Indian girl gave her life in order to' sav-e'her -white friend's'■" from being -massacred by .Indians . who are on the warpath. iSome clever feats of horsemanship are introduced in the Wild West drama,- : "Tiie Sheriff's : : - Capture," while., a girl's heroism, is depicted <in a thrilling tale, entitled ."The Engineer's Sweetheart.** A splendid budget of scenic and comic su-bjeois go to make up a first-class programme. Pretty and appropriate music was rendered by the ; T.-P. orchestra.; The ; pro- - gramme will be shown for the last time to-night. -
