NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. Sy.Tdeardph—Piess Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. . The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and weather forecast are as follows: Aii anti-cyclonic pressure now prevails, and is highest over the South Island. Strong south-easterly winds have prevailed, with cold and showery, weather generally, but improving to-day, in most parts of. the country. ' - Present indications are for- fair but hazy conditions generally. Moderate to strong busterly winds veering ty> northerly, especially in the •northern and southernmost districts. The' .barometer will probably fall everywhere, particularly in the north, ern and southernmost districts.
