LOWER TAUERU.

The Lower Taueru school picnic and sports -were lield on Friday, in Mr Loader's paddock, the weather' being all that could be desired. A good programme of sports was got off, the prizes for -which were distributed in the hall in the evening by Mr Buchanan, M.P. The medal for most points was won by Alasine Hill with 11 points, Margaret Scott c being a close second with 10 points.' !
