! THE PARLIAMENT BILL. CANADA'S POSITION. . (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) LONDON, February 5. The Right Hon. A. Birrell, speaking at Bristol, said the country's finance could not wait. Subject to that, the Government's business would be to mcike the Parliament Bill law. It would be the main, dominant, and, if necessary, the only business of the session. There were, said Mr Birrell, all sorts of things which would be much talked over thereafter, such as the Disestablishment of the Welsh Church and Some Rule for Ireland. "We are pledged to these," he said, "as essential to securing the goodwill arid peace of these islands." Proceeding, he said it was the duty of Britain to wish Canada well in her enterprises. "Let her make the best bargain she can,".he said. "Wo can say to Canada, 'Do the best you can. for yourselves and your glorious country. We will do our best for our old, crowded country, requiring ■, wheat from wherever-we can get it' 'V :■ ,
