EELS FOR GERMANY.

A trial shipment of New Zealand eels is being made to Germany. The fish ■ara to be frozen by a special process, and landed in Germany at a season when fish are scarce. The experiment will be watched with some interest. -The New .Zealand lakes and rivers abound with eels, and the Wairarapa Lake and streams are particularly well stocked with the Maori delicacy known as the "tuna."
