THE RESULT OF GAMBLING. By Teleqravti — Press Association. '.■■■•■ PAHIATUA, Last Night. An inquest was held this afternoon on the body of Francis Edwin Storey, tailor, who was found yesterday in a bathing hole in the Mangatainoka river with a bullet wound in his head. The verdict was that death was caused by a bulletwound, selfinflicted. The police produced a letter written to them by deceased, stating he had been gambling heavily, and had lost every shilling, and indicating where his body would be found.
