Mr Storey carried on business in'Dannevirke for many years, leaving here togo to Christchurch about 1905. Deceased had many friends in Dannevirke, and on Friday last paid what almost looked Like a premeditated farewell visit to Dannevirke, when he hunted up all his old acquaintances. The death of Mr D. M. Spedding, for over forty years a well-known Dunedin auctioneer, is announced by a Press Association telegram.
