OTTAWA, January 28

A trapper named Wilson and his bride went for their honeymoon to a district in the far north of Ontario.

The trapper left his log-hut home, and did not return.

The wife, half-mad at her husband's disappearance, set out in snow-shoes for the nearest .settlement. ■' \ :

She was found by a comrade of ■ Wilson, half dead in the snow. Her hair was completely white, and the wolves had attempted to attack her during her two-days' journey through the snow. The husband has not been found l , and it is believed the wolves devoured him.
