HOUSE DESTROYED.

WHANGAKEI Last Night. An eiglit-roomed house in the Whau Valley, owned and occupied by D. McLeod, was completely demolished by lire last night. The building was insured in the National office for £325, and tho furniture, most of which was saved, was covered by insurance in the Guardian office.
