BIDEFORD SPORTS.

The sports.meeting, held at.Bideford yesterday was very successful,, although the weather, was cold and. bleak. The attendance was fairly ■ representative. The programme wa.s ; carefully compiled, and the majority of the events were well filled. Mr Garrett's "Daisy Bell" carried off the Cup in the Hunters' Competition (open), secretary. (Mr S. Miller) and an committee, had the arrangements well in hand, and left nothing to bo desired. The results were as follows: —Maiden.— F. Harris 1, T. Scott, 2. Boys' High Jump.— R. Harris 1, C.
