COMMISSION FOR ISSUE" OF PERMITS. The following have been appointed, under the hand of His Excellency the Governor, a 'commission in terms of the Gaming Act, 1910, for the purpose of determining the racing clubs to winch totalisator permits are to be granted in the year commencing Ist August, 19T1, ana the number of days on which the totalisator may be used in each case:— Sir George Clifford, Canterbury, President of the Racing Conference (chairman). Mr Albert Cohen, Dunedin. Mr J. Rowe, Auckland.
