': — 1 NEW ZEALAND FORECAST/ By Telegraph—P>>ess Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and weather forecast are as follows: — The weather has been hazy, warm and humid; generally, but rain has fallen; in the southern-most districts, and squally and westerly winds were experienced during the night in Foveaux Strait and parts of Cook Strait, but the winds have been mostly variable, and the barometer made'little movement. The present indications are for warm and humid conditions generally, with passing clouds and showers in parts. Winds will probably be variable in most parts oK the country, moderate to strong easterlies predominating in the north, and westerlies southward of Cook Strait. The barometer has a falling tendency in the Far North, but will probably rise shortly in the South.
