WOOL AND SKIN SALES. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., re;port having, sold their usual share .«f themojithly"" offerings. ' Owingto the December sale having been - deleted, on account .of the holidays, a fair quantity of wool, , skins and oddments had accumulated and prices showed a slight decline on November rates. The ■ following is an indication of prices realised:— Wool.— Fleece to 6|d: dingy fleece, 6d; lambs' wool from s£d for seedy to 7jd for clean wool; matted fleeces, sijd; locks, 3d to 3Jd; crutchings, 4d. Tallow.— 17s to 21s 6d. Calfskins—to 43d. Sheepskins.— Halfbred to 6^d; crossbred, sfd to 62d; shorts, 3(3; broken crossbred, 4Jd; crossbred dfead, 4|d to 5.Jd; lambs, pelts, 2-} d to 3Jd. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report a a follows: We held' our, periodical wool, skin, hide and tallow sale yesterday.' There was the usual : attendance of buyers, and. prices were well-mamtaiiied at late rates. [We offered a good catalogue of wool aud ; skins, but, as .custontary at this time of the year, our catalogue consisted chiefly of oddments of wool, the prices for which were well up to Wellington values. Wo quote:— Wool.— Crossbred, Gjd to 7gd; pieces, 3sd to locks, 3d to 3-Jd; dead, 5d to 6Jd. Sheepskins.— Medium crossbred, 6d to 6|d; coarse, 5Jd to 5f d; dead, 4|d to s£d; pelts, 2d to 3jd; lambs, 3Jd to si?d. Hides.— Ox medium, to 6|d; cow, 5d to 5-Jd; cow slippy, to sd; calf, 5d to Bd. Tallow.— Tins, 14s to 19s cwt; casks, 23s 6d cwt.
