AGRICULTURAL STATISTICS.
The determination of the Government to collect the 1 agricultural statistics this year in conjunction with the census is a wise one, and will result in-a large saving to the country. It will be necessary, however, if these returns are to be complete, that tile sub-enumerators appointed shall be men possessing a knowledge of rural pursuits, as well as of figures. The value of agricultural statistics depends entirely upon their accuracy.
