Turner \yas in the act of hanging up a'loaded gun on the. wall in a room, when tho charge exploded, the contents lodging in one of the unfortunman's thighs, inflicting a very serious wound. Medical aid was procuredj{and the sufferer is progressing as favourably as can be expected under the painful circumstances. Mr A. Ydung (of Messrs Fly and Young) left for the Coast last evening with the ambulance brougham to convey the injured man to the Masterton Hospital. He expects to be back about; ten; o'clock this.morning.- *' . -
