(From Our Ova Corresßondentß'.) CARTERTON, I Work is reported to be plentiful on the coast tit the present time. 'Rabbit poisoning is being pushed and a good deal of fencing is contemplated. Mr Bert. Crawley sustained a nasty itijurv to his right heel while following Jus work at Mr Ranish's a few days ago. It appears that he and another were working with slashers, when the one used by his mate aceidently caught Crawley's heel, and inflicted a nasty wound, which will put hint out of work for some weeks. The well-known Wirths' Circus, is to visit Carterton next month. Mrs McGregor, who has for some considerable time successfully conducted Camnethan Nursing Home, is relinquishing the business on account of health.
