Several Telegraph Handicap candidates were out. Fasnakyle ran a fast mile, and Forrnby was merely sprinted down the straight. Gipsy Belle finished better than Dearest, running five furlongs in lmin 4secs. Polymorphous went six -furlongs at three-quarter pace, while Maori King registered one of the nest gallops of the morning, skipping over six furlongs in lmin. 16secs. •
