Bates' summary and Weather forecasts are as follows: — i The weather >rs been generally warm and fair, though hazy and cloudy at times. The" winds; have been variable, those from the north predominating and geiierally moderate," but a moderate gale was experienced in .Wellington ovlytbis morning.Present indications are for moderate to stormy westerly winds generally, and squally at times in Cook:.and Foveaux Straits. Warm, fair, and hazy Weather will probably prevail, though cloudy at times, in 'various parts of the country. The barometer Mill probably fall slowly everywhere.
