LATE COMMERCIAL.

PAHTATUA STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly sale in Pahiatua, this week in the Mangahao Road yards, when they offered a yarding of cattle and sheep well up to advertised numbers. The enquiry for sheep was fairly good,--and all our entry Was sold under the hammer. Cattle were well competed for, and we are pleased to report a clearance. Quotations are as follows : Shorn lambs to 7s 6d; woolly lambs (backward condition) to 8s lid; old ewes and lambs to 6s lid. A good line of 15 to 18-months steers 30s to 40s; Jersey bulls to £3. Out next sale will be held next Tuesday, in the Pahiatua Farmers' Yards, when we will offer a good line of 3-year-old bullocks.
